SCIENCE: Winter Break Project (Optional-Extra Credit)

Hello everyone,

I would like to offer all of you an option of adding some points to your 2nd trimester grade this break. Since you will probably have some extra time tape or record (DVD preferred) an educational film related to Ecology, Astronomy, or Chemistry. Some sample shows are NOVA, Dirty Jobs, MythBusters, Modern Marvels, How It Works, or most of the shows on Animal Planet, History Channel, Discovery Channel, or TLC. Include the following:

1. Copy of the film or show
2. Appoximately 100 word summary
3. 10 question review based on information from your film

Each student should update their schedule when changes are made. The PE office and main office will have a copy for students or parents to check on.

JANUARY-ALL AFTERNOON PRACTICES IN THE 3RD FLOOR AUXILLIARY GYM and end at 5:00 pm
January 14th @ 3:35-5:00 pm
*January 15th Away Game @ ROOSEVELT/RIVER F. (parent drivers at 3:15 pm)
January 16th @ 3:35-5:00 pm
*January 17th @ 3:35-5:00 pm
January 22nd @ 3:35 Playoffs @ Unity (parent drivers at 3:15 pm)
January 23rd @ TBA
January 24th @ TBA
January 25th @ TBA

*NTOE: No detention or study session will be missed for a practice. Players must report to these events before practice. Bring a note for detentions and study sessions.
*NOTE: There will be some open gym times for workouts and shooting in the auxiliary gym on most Tuesdays and Thursday mornings from 7:15-8:30 am. YOU MAY ARRIVE BEGINNING AT 6:50AM. These are mandatory practices, and are excellent times to receive additional practice time, workouts, and coaching.
