Basketball/Workout Practice

Good Morning Guys/Gals,

Here is a list of OPTIONAL practice dates for the 6th/7th grade basketball team, 8th grade basketball, & morning workout group. Please arrive NO earlier than 8:45 a.m. Enter through the South alley (by KFC) gymnasium doors. Practice will run no later than 11:00 a.m. Make sure to have a ride or car pool. NO early arrival or late departure from any students. Here is a list of all the days.

FOCUS: Review and Ecology Comprehensive Test.

WOD: a comprehensive list of vocabulary words that will be used, studied, and quizzed the entire year. WOD will be listed in BOLD. Write the date, word, and definition in your planner each day.

ECOLOGY PPP: Organism, Population, Community, Ecosystem, & Biosphere information should be included. Take time this week to make sure that review your past material and be sure that there is a theme with the rest of your slide. Remember that your personality should be reflected in your work. Due Wednesday, December 10, 2008.

REUSE PROJECT: A black leather belt will be sent home with each child. Please spend time with him/her to find an alternative use for the belt to teach them the idea of REUSE. Other material may be added or the belt may serve as an additional part to another object. Whether it is the primary or secondary component include all the details and materials needed to complete this product.

Monday: () Complete any unfinished reuse projects. Second part of class will be devoted to reviewing for the comprehensive test this Wednesday and Thursday. Remember that it will also include the WOD words up to last week. Use previous test to study both the chapter material and the vocabulary words.

2008-2009 Basketball Schedule

6th & 7th Grade Basketball Practice Schedule (updated 12/10/08)

Here is a list of the following days that the PJMS boys’ basketball team will be practicing. Most mornings consist of shooting, running plays, and exercise. Afternoons are typically devoted to plays, defense, and scrimmaging. It is important to attend all practices for us to become a team but I understand that there are other important priorities. I have shared with them that FAMILY, ACADEMIC/BEHAVIOR, & WELLNESS precede basketball. If you have any situations please email me and we can find a solution.
