FOCUS: Computers Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Reuse project

WOD: a comprehensive list of vocabulary words that will be used, studied, and quizzed the entire year. WOD will be listed in BOLD. Write the date, word, and definition in your planner each day.

ECOLOGY PPP: Organism, Population, Community, Ecosystem, & Biosphere information should be included. Take time this week to make sure that review your past material and be sure that there is a theme with the rest of your slide. Remember that your personality should be reflected in your work. Due Wednesday, December 10, 2008.

REUSE PROJECT: A black leather belt will be sent home with each child. Please spend time with him/her to find an alternative use for the belt to teach them the idea of REUSE. Other material may be added or the belt may serve as an additional part to another object. Whether it is the primary or secondary component include all the details and materials needed to complete this product.

Monday: (REDUCE) MEASURE THE GROWTH OF YOUR PLANT, WATER, AND RECORD YOUR DATA ALL WEEK. Finish your Ecology PPP. Extra-credit presentation to be used for critiquing and ideas.
HW: No homework.

Tuesday: (REUSE) Finish your Ecology PPP.
HW: Ecology Review packet. Due Friday, December 12, 2008.

Wednesday: (RECYCLE) Ecology PPP are due today.
HW: Ecology Review packet. Due Friday, December 12, 2008.

Thursday: (BIODEGRADEABLE) What can we do to save our planet? What are the 3 R's? Reuse a belt from class, choose a belt design and construct.
HW: Ecology Review packet. Due Friday, December 12, 2008.


Friday: (CONSERVATION) Cont. construction project. What other materials could we reuse?
HW: Review your WOD words.
