FOCUS: Science Project Experiment, Data Table, Analysis, & Conclusion. Preparing presentation formats.
WOD: a comprehensive list of vocabulary words that will be used, studied, and quizzed the entire year. WOD will be listed in BOLD. Write the date, word, and definition in your planner each day.
PROJECT DUE DATES:
Experiment due 5/6
Experimental design due 5/8
Paper due 5/12
Monday: () Discuss your project progress and final dates (listed above)
HW: Conduct your experiment at home and complete data table. Due by Wednesday.
Tuesday: () What is data analysis? Mean, Median, Mode. Identify trends or patterns from your data table. What is a science conclusion?
HW: 1) Analysis & Conclusion Worksheet & 2) Conduct your experiment at home and complete data table for tomorrow.
Wednesday: () Bring your data table with information. Work on creating your data analysis & conclusion. Base your conclusion on your data analysis.
HW: Begin typing your Experimental Design.
Thursday: () Complete your Experimental Design - Purpose, Materials, Procedures, Data table, Analysis, & Conclusion.
HW: Type Experimental Design.
Friday: () Finish your final draft (due 5/12) on What Has Science Done For Me? Remember to identify 3-5concepts that have a dual meaning 1) Your Topic context 2) Science context. You paper should be 60% your topic and 40% science.
HW: Begin work on your presentation format: 2-D & 3-D. 2-D-pictures, posters, pamphlets, etc. 3-D-videos, skits, demonstrations, etc.
