FOCUS: WOD #7 and Final Experiment

WOD: a comprehensive list of vocabulary words that will be used, studied, and quizzed the entire year. WOD will be listed in BOLD. Write the date, word, and definition in your planner each day.


Monday ()
Morning: Develop your final hypothesis for your experiment. Create an experiment that will measure your hypothesis. Include the following: hypothesis, independent/dependent variable, controlled variables, materials, setting, skills, and procedure/steps
Morning HW: Type your newest WOD words.

WOD: a comprehensive list of vocabulary words that will be used, studied, and quizzed the entire year. WOD will be listed in BOLD. Write the date, word, and definition in your planner each day.


Monday (RESEARCH)
Morning: Look at examples in abstracts of hypotheses. Create a web of ideas for your topic or research. Develop your own hypotheses.
Morning HW: Write 5 predictions/hypotheses on your topic in the form "If..., then..."
Afternoon: Same as the morning.
Afternoon HW: Same as the morning.

Tuesday (INDEPENDENT/DEPENDENT)
Morning: What is the difference between independent and dependent variables?
Morning HW: Read the 5 abstracts and find the independent and dependent variables.
